Trek to sacred peak of Srikhand Mahadev –One of holy five Kailash abode of Lord Shiva. A tough pilgrimage to this Holy Shivling is undertaken by hundreds of devotees in the holy month "Sawan" (July/August)
.
 
 
Day 01 :

Delhi-Chandigarh by Shatabdi Express (dep 0740 arr 1105 hrs)
Chandigarh-Kullu by surface (225 km, 6 hrs drive)
In time transfer to railway station to board train for Chandigarh. Meeting and assistance on arrival at Chandigarh and drive to Kullu. Overnight at hotel.



 
 
Day 02:
Kullu-Sai Ropa Tourist complex (100 kms/3hrs drive) Drive by vehicle from Kullu. Stay at the Sai Ropa Tourist Complex. Drive by vehicle upto the trek starting point at Bathad village. Thereafter by walk. Stay in tents.
 
 
Day 03 :
Sai Ropa Tourist Complex to Camp I (07hrs trek /10 kms)

Initially the trek is along the village trail and moves slowly up. After the last village the climb starts and trek is up and down.   Drive by vehicle upto the trek starting point at Bathad village. Thereafter by walk. Stay in tents.          

 
 


Day 04:
Camp I to Camp II (Plash camp) (3700 M) (05hrs / 08kms)
The trek is raising with up and downs all the way to the camp. Quite tiring. By walk and stay in tents.



 
  Day 05:
Camp II (Plash camp) (3700 M)
Camp III (Bhimdwari) (3750 M) (07hrs trek/ 10kms)  
    
Shortly after the camp the trail starts to climb and climbs till the ridge. Then crosses over near the third pillar and moves down, finally meeting the trail coming from Bagi pul. Good trail moving slowly to the camp. 
 
 
Day 06:
Camp III (Bhimdwari) (3750 M) to Camp IV (Nain Sarawor) (4200 M)    (04hrs trek/ 06 kms)
The trail moves more or less horizontally up to the waterfalls. The climb starts after crossing over the stream below the waterfalls. It moves to the bolder strewn region thereafter till one reaches the camp. The "Nayan Sarover" has a small shrine. Pilgrims take bath here before moving up.
 
 
Day 07:
Camp IV (Nain Sarawor) (4200 M)  
to Camp V (Bhimdwari) (3750 M) (09hrs trek/12kms)

The trail moves up steeply after the camp and is amongst the rocks. After the initial climb we reach the ridge from where the view towards Kinnaur opens up and the trail from that side meets our trail. The steep climb continues right to the top where it levels out few hundred meters from the pinnacle. The first of the two big waterfalls The second waterfall. visible from Bhim dwari.Parvati water falls know as bath place of Lord Shiva & Parvati The climb to the Sirikand Mahadev starts after Bhimdwari. We will pass through "Shiv Parvati ka Bagicha" Garden of Lord Shiva & Parvati . The place is full of rare Brahma Kamals & varieties of flowers and gave heavenly look.After Nayan Sarover the trail climbs quite steeply.The view of our route from Bhim dwari, which is the sunny spot in the center of photo. Wonder of trek Bhim Bhai, the leafs from the account book of Bhim on the way to sacred Sri Khand Mahadev peak The Sirikand Mahadev is finally few hundred meters away. Now we stand at 5200 maters, in front of the 27 meters natural Shiva lingam.
 
  Day 08:
Camp V (Bhimdwari)(3750 M)   to Camp VI
(Shmatan FRH) 08 hrs
The trail moves down with some climbing then it moves down to the Kali ghati ka sar. From here it again climbs upto the ridge. Thereafter it is all the way down to the camp with some climb near the temple.
Mission accomplished, the group moves back. The "Kali ghati ka sar", a small pond next to the trail. The climb of Kali ghati starts immediately thereafter. Temple at Kali Ghati top –Shri Khand peak view from this point is amazing & very spiritual  in clear sky.
 
 
Day 09:
Camp VI  (Shmatan Kurpan Khad  FRH) Shimla (09hrs / 150kms drive)

It is more of a village trail and easy going till the road head. Danda Dhar jungle is very dense and have to cross in day time only. By walk upto Bagi pul and from there by vehicle to Shimla. Stay in Hotel. 
 
 
Day 10:
Shimla – Kalka (Drive 90 Kms 2-3 Hours)
Chandigarh – Delhi (Pachim Express) 1010 - 1435

Morning departure transfer to the Railway station at Kalka to board the super fast train to Delhi, Met upon arrival at Delhi and check into your hotel (Rooms will be from 1400-2200) Rest of the day will be free for independent activities, later in the evening departure transfer to the International airport to board the flight for onward destination.
